Chaeto is a fast-growing macroalga that looks like green steel wool and scrubs extra nitrates and phosphates out of your aquarium to keep it sparkling clean! Chaeto (pronounced "kay-tow" or "key-tow") can be tossed in your refugium or tucked in the back of your tank. (We like to stuff it behind some live rock, where it makes a perfect home for amphipods and copepods!)
